Video game artwork/wallpapers

this may go in the screenshots, artwork, and movies thread, but i picked here because it is non-WoW...

anyway, does anyone know any good sites to find fanart, artwork, and wallpapers for video games? i've been trawling the net and haven't been able to find anything really good, especially in the artwork department. any tips are appreciated

Have you tried using META CRAWLER, or DOGPILE? These are just a couple of really good search engines for future reference. But I found this maybe its what your looking for: www.gameworldweb.com

not exactly what i was looking for unless i missed it...

what i'm after is like game artwork/wallpapers/fanart that i could just save to my computer and use for my desktop or screensaver

although, using metacrawler, i did manage to come up with some new hits, so i will be looking into those...thanks for the advice!

Game renders sounds like what you are looking for - www.gamerenders.com/ is probably the best place to start, but if you don't find what you're looking for just google "Game Renders".

I use http://www.gamewallpapers.com/ it has some free pics, but mainly it offers widescreen walls too. Its new sister site has some god ones also

I used to use gamewallpapers.com... if I'm not mistaken, there's a limit to how many you're allowed to download?

Anyway, if it's still the same you can get around it by using something like "HideIPPlatinum" which I think is pretty self explanatory =P If you don't have any programs that will do such a thing, working through a proxy site might get the same results.

A couple of easy ones are http://www.puzt.com and http://www.looking.us Proxies are called "Virtual Browsers" because you browse the internet using their site. Simply put in a link and you're good to go. These are mainly used to bypass internet restrictions, therefore the "might work".
