I wish I could make pets from items. That'd be fun.
Especially if they copy the item-properties like in D2. Make a Felguard from a Bow and you get a bow-wielding FG? |

Omg. I had these same thoughts. What if like. Warlocks could use one of our soul shards and for a short time. Like a minute. Animate any dead corpse. Like we could run around and use the fallen corpses of players and npcs as weapons. It's like those summoners that can spawn multiple skeletons. Think about it. Killing that gnome and then using his body to kill more.
We do dabble with demons, however, demons dabble with death. In the lore, the NAthrezim or Dreadlords were toying with the use of dead bodies on the battlefield to combat the night elves. What if we could do the same thing in ways? That would be so awsome in Wrath of the Lich King. What better spell to give us then the spell to animate the dead? Also if used on a players corpse if they res the spell is broken. Stop all the QQing. |

Deathknights will get a spell "Army of the Dead" (not sure that's the name), that does the same.

Personally, I really don't want to see Warlocks get any type of animate dead spell. To me at least, it really doesn't fit in with the feel of the class. Warlocks are all about manipulating demonic energies and that doesn't include raising the dead.
Maybe that's just me, but I'd like to see 'locks stay 'pure' in that respect. Deathknights? Sure, let 'em raise dead and watch how fast your FPS go completely down the tubes (not the Internet tubes either). Wandering around with an army of skeletons, while hella-cool (I love zombie movies, etc), would just lag the whole game into submission. My .02. |

heh i get a whole 7fps in any city, if im lucky. other places i can get all the way up to 19 or 20! please dont let people bring in a new bunch of moving objects!

What I miss is being able to fire without being locked on to a mob. Bowazon throwing a wave of arrows off screen, mowing down cows before they ever even get into the screen... those were the days. |
