Fallout 3

Hoi all

I guess im not the only one who long ago enjoyed "Wasteland" on a nice C64

Well, later on i played Fallout and liked the game with its atmosphere. Now i hear things about Fallout 3 - if i look on the homepage then it reads as if it would already be out for sale. But when i look for it in online-stores then only Fallout 1+2 are found by me.

So - anyone got some info on Fallout 3 - is it rdy for sale?

Well the game's in dev and they released a trailer, but only god knows when it will be out. Not before 2008 I guess... From what I've heard it'll be 1st person, with the oblivion engine but without the crappy levelling system (and hopefully without the crappy interface)

Aaah, Wasteland. I think I have a copy somewhere that works on the PC. I can try and find it if you want.

I have a WoW character named RedHawk...he was from Wasteland.

Fallout 1+2 were great...very fun.

Actually that would be very cool - i remember that some years ago i tried to make it work on a C64 emulator in a PC window - was not really running smooth at all and i gave up on it.

A playable PC version would be excellent

I'm stoked. Fallout made by bethseda (Oblivion) so it could be very very good.

It's going to be different but if it has the fallout atmosphere they're halfway there. If the gameplay comes close to oblivion, then it'll be a complete killer. All I know so far is that you need to drink water often, and that you can drink from *any* source. Which includes toilets...
