Hacking @ Thottbot?

Entered Thottbot a few minutes ago, and all of the sudden, a windowed appeared, wanting to install a "security program". The information were in swedish, but the grammar was so horrible, my bullshit detector started to scream...

Has anyone else had this experience?

Rest assured, I will never visit thottbot.com again...

I've visited thottbot.com hundreds of times with no problems. Are you running a spyware program continuously on your pc? Could have been a pop up dropped by another site you visited and you triggered it by connecting to the internet. Have never had a problem with thottbot.com in the year I have been accessing it.

I have my anti-virus (it includes spyware protection) on High protection at all times. I do a full system scan every night in addition to Spybot and Ad-Aware.

I rarely visit sites apart from the ones I visit every day (newspapers etc.) so I have no idea where a supposed pop up would have come from.

I'm just going to play it safe and not visit any WoW sites (except this one

and the official) from now on.

I'd get Spybot Search & Destroy. It works wonders for that type of stuff.

well dam, me when i see messages like that which the button glows when i mouse over i install, thanks for alerting me,

is the goblinworkshop one clean? anyone know?

I'm sure they'll fix it as soon as they are made aware.

I had the same thing happen to me on Allakhazam, but it seems to be fine now.
