To your main point: it's hard to argue with the Undead racials - they are sweet. And, undead Warlocks just make sense in some weird, horror-fantasy way. |

Please Note that Arcane Torrent is a very close range effect, of 15 yards..and silences for 2secs. It's not use as much by itself as it is with a group full of BEs doing AT(Arcane Torrent) one after another ...works beautifully if carefully planned right before a spell hits. As we all know Warlocks are about timing and AT can teach ya how to hone that skill. All in all BE isn't bad if you wanna look hawt and summon demons. Re: Races
I think that UD locks are great, but I had trouble leveling at first because of a lack of mana. I have a BE now and it's great, but I DO miss cannibalize. Orcs get blood fury but now with 2.3 that an hurt certain locks because Drain Life and Siphon Life are now affected by the 50% loss from healing effects...
I've never played alliance so I can't say anything about them. |

Re: Races
It is often over looked, but i want to speak about the benefits of the human trait, Perception.
I cannot express how often this trait has saved my bacon on my alliance warlock. If your looking for something to aid with rogues, I'd have to say perception should be high on the list, In battlegrounds / Arena, this skill has allowed me to see and dot rogues far quicker than they have been able to get to me. I often find that i have 2-3 seconds before they're on me, this gives me time to Death Coil, Instant Howl of Terror, and get a few dots on em. 2-3 seconds can make or break a fight. |

"... there are so many UD Lock mainly because ususally people are not so crazy like to to buy WoW + BC in one shot, for this reason with the standard game if you want to be a lock the only answer can be one..." But cause I don't want to think that UD are overrated only for this I'm asking, somebody, just for fun, has rolled up both races UD and BE as lock class and can really say... ok yes UD are better? Of course more or less you have just replied to this question, but I'd like to go more deep in the debate if you like. Anu belore dela'na... Selama ashal'anore ![]() |

Re: Races
I'll put my two cents in here on this.
If you want to make a Warlock, DO NOT worry about racials. The look of your Warlock will make a bigger difference, in my opinion, on how long you play a Warlock over racials. MY first Warlock was Undead, best caster animations in the game. Then I tried Human, Orc, Blood Elf, Gnome...nothing came close to LOOKING as cool as you can as Undead. I mean come on, you get to rock out while you are killing stuff and casting, what's better than that? Need more proof? Here is a link to the best Warlock among all of us ![]() |

Re: Races
Yes ok, I can agree with you, this racial protect you till level 42, but for me, as I said, it is useless cause because for several reason I have to choose the horde... so... for this reason I tried to focus my argue only on UD and BE

Re: Races
My main is a level 60 BE lock I almost never use his racials I wish I had made an Orc I like their racials for warlock alot.
I have a 29 BE paladin and I use the racials all the time. Mainly the paladin doesn't have anything else to do but use his racial at range. So those racials work alot better for the pally |
