Language - ALL read please.

Due to an increase in unnecessary language being used I have added some of them to the word filter. Please don’t think I am a prude, I am not and have no issues with words being used if they are in the right context, however recently there has been quite a few posts with unnecessary words being used, in which I would like to think we are a mature enough community that we can think of alternatives.

This is not only being done to make posts more pleasant to read, but I also have to remember there are some younger members here and I would like to promote mature behavior. Everyone knows what it can be like to read the B.Net forums and for me personally, I tend not to read posts where every third word is g ay, b ulls***t etc. If you need to vent about something that upset you, then by all means express yourself, but in day to day general posting please try to keep things as clean and easy to read as possible.

hehe... well I know that a lot of us have done it, maybe even all of us in the past... when I do it you can rest assured its 90% of the cases because im drunk or something... but I dont think im the particular problem.

I agree with this as well, especially some of the more debate oriented threads seem to be degenerating into just constant swearing.

some people are used to other sites which have very slack rules. they seem to have no problem letting conversations devolve into four letter words. unfortunately i've been very busy and i haven't had much time to police the boards during the recent influx of posters.

but there are reguar posters who also don't mind letting some language slip. i usually let these slide. but i would prefer that people take the time to think of something else to take the place of swears. taking a couple extra seconds to rethink your language helps to keep level of quality on the WD boards very high.

i would also like to thank those who have consistenly taken the time to create well thought out posts that are void of foul language. \:D/
