More disconnection problems.

So for the past 4-5 days I have been having some wierd disconnecting problems, Usualy they are just a few here and there but now they are constant over and over and i'm unable to play.

I don't understand why but here are some of the wierd things that disconnect me.

1. Trying to look at the last few pages from the Grimoire trainer.
2. Opening a chest for a quest in Dun Morogh.
3. Walking into certain areas.

I've deleted my WTF folder, restarted my computer checked my router and modem, deleted all my addons, and have all programs closed and NOTHING is working and I have no clue what to do

I have been so pissed lately i just want to break my computer(and its brand new!)

Now the only thing i can think of that could be a problem is my mom's connection, but all internet works fine so I dont think it can be that.

Basicly what happens when i log on: I'm in the game, doesnt tell me i join the general, trade, and local defense channel, nobody has any clothes on and my spells aswell as items in my inventory have a "?" for picture.

If anyone has any ideas to what may be wrong or know what to do i would highly appreciate it.
(also my friend said she did a system restore and it fixed her problems but I dont know if that can do anything? so if someone knows about that too i would appreciate it.)

Re: More disconnection problems.

Try this: http://pcpitstop.com/
Run the tests and see what they say. Also contact your internet provider, Are you DSL or Cable? Have them ping your modem and run a line check. If PC Pitstop has no recommendations and your ISP says your clean then try sending in a trouble ticket to Blizzard. Note just found this see if it applies to you http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/arch.../t-375771.html

Good Luck

Re: More disconnection problems.

Hay this just hit me.....Have you installed a new TV or any device that you might have installed a cable splitter? The wrong type of splitter can cause this type of problem. It will allow the internet to work but when you try and use any bandwidth it will crash.

Re: More disconnection problems.

I know that since tuesday at about 1:00 AM, everyone on the Platinum Communications networks had similar problems. I'd be fine for a while, and suddenly BAM 11000 ms lag and I'd DC. It really pissed me off, still happens from time to time now.. but it's a little better.

Something to do with a savvis.net server in Seattle going haywire.

Re: More disconnection problems.

I've had several disconnects this week. Typically occurs when I'm moving many items from mailbox or bank. Occurs with and without Addons enabled. Comcast cable user.

Re: More disconnection problems.

Well none of it seems to work, and after reading the posts on official WoW forums i beleive its something blizz did with 2.3, because after that is when this began it just got really bad recently. So i bought Lord of the rings online and gona playthat for a bit and see how it is.

I think I saw an item on the test server patch news about a bug when mousing over certain recipes would cause a disconnect.
