New Notebook -> Graphics Chip?

Hello,

I do have a Notebook with 1920x1200 and a GeForce Go 6800 Ultra with 256 MB. It's a little dated now, and I want to upgrade, and indeed staying with my display resolution.

The graphics chips of choice were:

GeForce Go 8600M GT 256 MB
GeForce Go 8700M GT 512 MB
Dual GeForce Go 7950 GTX 512 MB
Dual GeForce Go 8700M GT 512 MB

What I need is a HUGE fps boost in WoW (no other game), so I ask myself, what of these setups would I need for it. I guess that 7950 Dual should be fastest (raw fps, non-dirext X 10) game.

Would a single 8600M GT be the same as what I have now?

I am only after approximations.

Best regards
neej

Re: New Notebook -> Graphics Chip?

There is a website called ?notebookreviews.com? that I came across when I was checking out notebook video cards that categorizes at what level each videocard is at. Just punch in the videocard in question into google and I'm sure it will pop up for you.
