New System component questions
Ok. I am seriously tired of horrible load times, having to wait 30 seconds for NPCs to show up when I come to a new area, and overall system sluggishness. I also am a bit jealous of the monster system we made for my girlfriend a few months back so I am considering upgrading my system. I currently have an older AMD equivalent to a P4 2GHz I think. The mother board isn't horrid but isn't great either.
We got her a Giga-byte GA-X38-DQ6 motherboard with an E6850 Core 2 Duo. These two are still kinda steep on price so I was considering getting the following for me: GA-X38-DS4 with E6750 Core 2 Duo. Does anyone know if I will see a major difference between the two boards or CPU's? Re: New System component questions
No one has any ideas?
![]() Would the lower end (cheaper in price) at least be a good setup for WoW and other such things? Sorry if I'm getting pushy on the post.. I'd like to try to get the system together soon if possible. |
