DS Action Replay

I've played DS lightly in my spare time, and i find it quite enjoyable. I am just wondering if anyone else uses one, (Action Replay is the Gameshark of DS). I'm new to it and thinking of buying Pokemon (blegh) because it seems that it would be the best game for utilizing my new Action Replay, any other suggestions on games, or help with using it is appreciated. (Wondering if i can use my DS action replay on SP games.)
