Now that AoC is out.. Necro/Demo Section?

I was wanting to know if there are enough people playing AoC (Age of Conan) who play Necromancers and or Demonologists to start out own section for discussion of evil casters

branching out into another game.

I personally would love to keep in touch with everyone in this forum discussing the strats, specs, talents, etc... of Necromancers and Demonologists of AoC.

What do you think?

Excellent game, definitely not for the children though. Unless you enjoy exposing children to (mild) indecency. Think I'm quiting WoW for this beauty, maybe.

It won't kill WoW, if only because Wow is ~speculatively~ made up about 40-50% youth (At least from the perspective of the 4-5 realms I've seen, so this is a VERY rough guess) and AoC caters to the 21+ (18+ technically) crowd.

Looks like a pretty good game actually. I'd probably give it a shot but I don't have the computer to run it. That's a big limiting factor on its success, and also I think WoW is very easy to pick up and play for someone who's never played an MMO. Not to be sexist or anything, but that's a big reason why so many women play WoW. Not just because it's like a fantasy land, but because it's not too complex to just start playing and it has the "cutesy" factor. This seems more like a hardcore and gory version of WoW which sounds cool, but we also don't really know how good endgame PvP and PvE are going to be.

There is the possibility of adding a sub-section of the General Gaming for just Age of Conan discussion (this goes for any game that a lot of members play). Just let me know...

I have been an avid WoW player since release, so I am a WoW fanboy...

but....

I picked up AoC this past weekend and it is by far alot more fun to play than WoW. I guess I am just burnt on WoW, but AoC is a total breath of fresh air.
I cancelled my WoW account (till Lich King prob) to play AoC.

If you have a fatty machine, and are looking for something different and new, this def pick this up. The graphics and gameplay are pretty solid, especially for a launch.

I hope this game does well. It will not dethrone WoW, but it will def pull a few million of WoW players...

And to answer your question....I would go Demo
