Re: The Most Helpless Feeling in the World...
I've met a mage in wow once and added him to my friends list, he was a decent guy and we did instances for abt a few months together to gear up etc, then all of a sudden his "character" suddenly changed, he was like a totally different person to what i knew, so i decided to ask him who he was, he told me he was that toons brother, so fair enough i suppose, a week later the real guy shows up on a new account and tells me that his mage got hacked. Poor guy...btw i /w his hacked mage and to my disbelief the mage tried to sell me gold, some people deserve to get shot for what they do.

Re: The Most Helpless Feeling in the World...
mac= security through obscurity.
windows= Empire, what always happens to an empire? Rebel Fighters blowing up your Death Star. Linux/unix/bsd= For "geeks" or "nerds" who: A.) dont like the other options B.) are in computer field and want to have hands on control down to the kernel. C.) Like the spiffy names and mascots of each respective unix derivative. D.) Wanted to try something new and found out they liked it. fighting about which OS is better is a waste of time. Each os has its pro's and con's. Shop around, find what you like. Live with the consequences. Last edited by HCLars; June 11, 2008 at 04:33 PM.. |

Re: The Most Helpless Feeling in the World...
I remember getting hacked once on my mage on New Years Eve last year. I know I have know life playing WoW on New Years Eve but I was just on to check an AH thing. When suddenly i got booted off. I thought it was my friend, Anthony who I shared the account with. The next time I logged on, my level 35 mage was sitting there naked, my 100g was gone. Everything in my backpack was gone. Well it took me and Anthony a while to get our stuff back. Got 20g extra.
Finally, Anthony figured out who it was. It was his friend. He was so angry at the guy who hacked us as a joke. He got the password from another friend who used to also share our account. So that's my story of getting "hacked." |
