DDO...
Dungeons & Dragons Online. Has anyone played it? I'm currently downloading the client to check it out. looks like instead of having to pay they changed to to be free2play. Just curious what some of you guys opinions are on this game. |

I played it for a a few months before switching to WoW (which was quite a while ago). I like the fact that how you set up your toon really has an impact on the roll it plays. The down side, is I had to delete and redo toons a couple times before I got it spec'd for the roll the toon was playing. You can have 2 rogues, and depending on how many points you put in wisdom vs something like strength makes a huge difference on whether the rogue is being to be a better trap master and lock pick vs a better assassin. Having a secondary spec is nice...one of the things I liked in Guild Wars. If it's now free, I may load it up and check it out again. |

I think they are going live with free to play when the newest patch goes through on Sept. 9th. |

DDO unlimted is the new free to play DDO downloading now as a speak, it's either almost 3 gig or almost 4gig in size ( standard graphics vs high graphics or something i can't remember ) going to take a good few days to grab so /shrug we'll see what happens |
