destro warlock gems
hy im new to the warlock world and simply love it:d buuuuuut i don't know how to gem my warlock some stats: 1900 spell power (fel armor on) 297 hit rating 21.89% crit 290 haste rating what gems do i use in blue , red and yellow sockets?? for red spell power probably but in a blue one? sp+ something else? |

I would take a look at this thread Read before asking help about bad dps. Generally though you should always gem for spell power unless the socket bonus grants at least 5 spell power. If however you have two sockets which aren't red, gem both with spell power and ignore the set bonus. Take a look at my armoury, that is generally how you would do it. |

297 hit, you should be gemming for HIT until you can get some gear that will help. Check out (http://wowmb.net/forums/f104/30669-w...t_cap_mr_wolf/) to get a better understanding. Basically, when you raid, currently only about 80% of your spell damage is actually hitting the beast. When you bring your HIT up to 400 range, that goes up to 90-100% (depending on build and buffs). Personally I like the Rigid Autumn's Glow for straight hit (non-epic yellow). For HIT gems, check out this filtered list: Gems - Items - World of Warcraft |
