Derren Brown's Seance

Just watched this on TV. This psychological magician (used to go to my secondary school i might add =)) did this TV program just now about seances and reaching between mediums to make contact with dead spirits. Was well freaky... Just thought this was interesting =).

ugh. we have this show called crossing over with John Edwards. there was an expose on his show and they revealed how he fakes his way through all his shows. anyone i've ever met that tries this stuff has been proven full of it.

Yeah there is always a reason behind it no doubt - however the stuff IS freaky if you don't know what the hell is going on.

We have that here too... I won't tell my mum he's a fake though (she needs to believe it for reasons I won't bore you with) but we went and saw one of his shows when he came out to Australi like 2 months ago. He was very very entertaining... but that was just it... an entertainer. ;)

I have a soft spot for Derren Brown though -

1) He's 10 times better than David Blaine.

2) He went to the secondary school that i went to.

He's also pretty convincing - although it's hard to convince me of these things, i'm a skeptic at heart =).

as long as you're entertained then it doesn't really matter. i don't believe in magic in any sort of way. but i'm always impressed when someone can trick me, which is pretty rare. whether it's because i'm smart or there are just tons of stupid people in the world, i won't say. :D
