Music Tastes

What genre of music do you like most? What band?
Im sure this post has been up many times before... i dont want to tire you but as i was inactive on the forum for a long time after i signed up it would be nice to know... and refresh the memory of others on the forum as well as inform new members.
Please post a reply with your preference...

Myself i like alternative rock and rap (mark my words NOT R&B and some non-R&B related hip-hop)
Bands: Linkin Park, Executioners, Offspring, Incubus and much more(I dont like hard rock like Slip Knot and Korn)
Rap: Eminem(followed him from the start), Dre(of course), NOT 50 cent, Snoop Dog(and a bit of Nate) and some of the London based underground rappers, mostly in north/east london.. near me (NOT 'the streets')

Sorry its not a polled post but there are so many types of music id rather the answers free-hand.

My favourite artists at the moment are Katie Melua, The Calling and Evanescence(Man that girl has a gorgeous voice :P). Oh yeah and... KANDIGURL! :lol:

I listen to Rock, rap, punk, some country, some classical to, and the list could go on and on

I am a oddball i know it ;)

Right now i am listening to Evanescence and was just playing some Bush a few mins ago

Nvm Saucon - as you can see from my favourite bands my tastes vary across the board too ;). There's Jazz and Rock in my list, and i don't have a preference of music to listen to - just NOT R&B :P.

With Rap music l will only listen to a song if i can understand more then 50% of the words. Some rap i don;t understand or can ever make out a a word in it

I understand bout the rap music... you understand more than i do
but with 5 bloomin' albums you just learn to look up the lyrics on IE 8), and some things become easwyer to decipher as ou get used to repetive loops about guns and bihatches :P (nO Akasha or any women on the forum, just quoting from 500000+ songs in a less explicit way)
But country man... eeugh! :roll: If you want some decent Pop/country i'd like to promote do tell me so (i bought my young music teachers single and is not bad at all, im meant to be reviewing it on the producers website, sadly its only for order at HMV - BIG music store)

Yea evernescence is cool... i didnt know she was that chubby till the new video tho , of course i cant comment ive only ever seen em on MTVs etc. and i only see that at a friends, never listen to radio either... im sooooooooooo uninformed :? .

And R2D2 rock hell yea! but techno-pop... okay (to me) some pop is aitte but techno and all those repeating beats :oops: (*throws up*) ;) (of course anyone can make 'as explicit as they see fit' comments about my tastes :D )
