The first comic though.... with such an open-minded population in my circle of friends, and mostly Australia I find that wrong in more ways that one.

i don't think that comic is funny. but it is in a sarcastic tone. it ridicules people (republicans) who quote the bible as law. although i feel it's in poor taste, i also feel it speaks true the mentallity of certain people of influence. i understand it may not make much sense to people outside of the US. i say this because in the US we are under a constant barrage of ignorant political views. unfortunately these people are some of the more popular radio and tv personalities. plus they are the most hypocritical people i've ever heard. they don't allow people who dissagree with them to voice their opinions and they often won't take back anything they say, even when it's obviously wrong. but they only agree with what fits their agenda. gah!!!

i follow too much of this stuff so i understand where this comic is coming from. it may not be funny, but it does have a good point.

As a non-US citizen, the caricatures themselves make no sense. But the general feeling is pretty much the same the world over
