so i feel obligated to tell yall as to why I have that annoying lil 'stay safe everyone' thing at the end of each of my posts


It was back when I was a n00bie playing EQ on the Lanys server, I had gotten into my very first guild and was having an awsome time. Every night when I would get off it became habbit for me to tell everyone to have a good night and stay safe as it was a 'big bad' world out there (it was my first mmorpg'

anyways got to playing and kept up the saty safe thing, one night HUGE raid like 4 or 5 guilds going to PoF or PoH.... not sure which now. Bu tI wasen't able to go and forgot to type in the stay safe thing...

next day when I got on to see how the raid went... everyone was going crazy they had wipped... and BAD too on teh second floor and not a chance in hell of getting the bodies back... (they at that point had tried 3 attempts to get em back) so I get on all cheery and thinking they did great ask how it went and get the crap joked out of me b/c it was my fault that it happened... (I didn't tell them to stay safe and as such they all got dead :p )

Make a long story short after that me (57 monky and Bammer 59 monky) were finally able to get up there and get the bodies back... and to this day I always say...

LOL good story! It's always interesting to hear how things started.

I have this 'thing' for rhyming... no idea why, but my jaw litterally dropped today when I was chatting to some random people and heard MY saying lol. The saying in quesion was, "Okie Dokie Artichokie" When I asked where they heard it from they simply said a friend told me... but I have to wonder if their 'friend' ever played The Sims Online as I was known for that saying there... along with Thank you Spank you

i always use rhyme too. but there's one i use in real life all the time. i figure life's short so you should "rock out with your ____ out" (editted for adult content ;) ). it's almost a motto for me which sounds pretty dumb. then again, why tip toe through life only to end up just as dead as the next person?

btw, there's also a female version of that saying but it sounds even stupider. :roll:

most of my sayings come from rediculous things i hear. my friends and i say "laters yo!" because i heard some guy use that and thought it was one of the dumbest things i'd ever heard. so of course my friends and i make it a point to use it all the time :D .

I used to have one "wooters ganooters" which originated in EQ...

Woot got lengthened to Wooters
Us gnomes (yes I played a gnome) alter Woot to make it more gnomish and it became Gnoot!
Put together one day we had Wooters Gnooters.

Being female I personalized it.... Wooters Ganooters look at my hooters :lol:
