I feel that we acted too soon with too little support. I also feel that we should be out of there as soon their government is up and running. the catch is that i'm positive it will crumble.

if we give Saddam over to the iraqi courts then i'm sure it will fail. he will be convicted. but he has too many loaylists. it would only be a matter of time before they broke him out of what ever prison he is held in. then the US will either intervene again or Saddam will rebuild an army to overthrow the Iraqi government.

overall i feel it's too many deaths with too few results.

but that's all i'm going to say on the subject.

oh, and i would have gone with Outkast's Bombs Over Bagdad, but I love outkast. :D

It's Bush's war. Not anybody elses. Iraq were no real threat to us. I say just let Saddam rule and be a tyrant - once he is dead someone better may come along, it isn't right to interfere with another country's politics - it's clear they arn't satisfied with our work so i say we leave them to their own devices, watch the asylum seekers crawl into Europe and the US, then laugh at them.

The war in iraq should have been a disarm of Saddam and they should have given te country to the people after that a lot faster...

or they should have just bombed the whole thing...not that I care much :oops:

The Iraqis behead our soldiers with cooking knives. I'm all for degrading their men if they do stuff like that to us. They're barbarians, and they will abide by our rule or live a much more squalid than their already extremely squalid lives. I couldn't care less if i'm honest - just as long as it doesn't effect taxes or me in general.

too many innocents to bomb an entire area. it was "excusable" in japan because the entire country was considered a threat to us.

Iraq was a surgical assault. meaning they couldn't use brute force. they had to employ tactics that hit specific spots while avoiding large areas around them.

... ok, makes sense i guess, but if you look closer, what are the initials? I think you'll get it soon enough; gives us an insight to bush's real intentions, as displayed proceeding the 'pockets of resistance' phase.

Also note that thousands of iraqis were killed, but some allied forces have 'fell bravely' ;)

Please do not encourage the use of programs to download music as 99% of them are against the law, and not something I want promoted openly. Everyone is aware of programs like these, and if individuals choose to use them that is their prerogative. I would not allow promotion of Warez and the like and this falls into the same category in my opinion.

Although the thread is no longer valid as WoW is now officially in beta, myself and this site took a stance against information taken from the hacked alpha, and I would like to continue the high moral ground.
