Re: Can anyone help.

I dont get it, but will reply as you're in a WoW Warlock forum (*cough*).

Maybe a quick google search, and particualrly the MS marketing hype will assist in answering your question.

Try comparing OpenOffice to MSOffice in term of installations, or acceptance and use of computer technology in the modern world.

Thats a terrible topic, and I suspect you're clutching at straws, or trolling?

Re: Can anyone help.

It was hard. Especially to get the topics to flow together. But I asked on of my friends who works with the program her views on using it compared to other typing programs. And she gave me a world of knowledge on it :D

Re: Can anyone help.

I'd refuse to write that essay on principle. Microsoft Word is one of the most irritating, inflexible word processors available

Having said that my CV is on a word document for the simple reason that some agencies don't accept them in any other format. In the UK anyway.

Re: Can anyone help.

First, i completely agree with Robodevil.

Second, you can use his point in your essay:
It can't be used as a DTP Software because is imprecise and fuzzy, spell and grammar corrections in non english languages is a pile of crap, MS implementation of WYSIWYG is a lie, but:
it is a standard "de facto". So it is important in any office work.
