good mouse?

Now that I have gotten my macbook and it has greatly increased my time playing wow since it runs so much more efficiently, im looking to get a good mouse.

I only have a very simple cordless mouse, and im looking for something a bit better. Im hoping I can bind a couple actions to my mouse buttons so as to make thing even easier to accomplish.

Does anyone have a good cordless mouse they recommend? Im not looking for something completely over the top, but still good, with a couple of buttons on the mouse besides the standard left click, right click, mouse wheel.

Re: good mouse?

I just picked up a MBP yesterday, and have started the search for a gaming BT mouse - though I think I might just get another corded Razer (I have one on my iMac and <3 it). I'll keep you posted....

BT500 is only 800 DPI, and has no side buttons

Kensington's Bluetooth Mouse I have one of these, the second mouse button stopped working after about a year. No side buttons.

Mighty Mouse can't hold l&r mouse buttons at the same time. Useless for WoW, imo.

Logitech mouse - looks about the same as the BT500 or the kensington in terms of features.

Microsoft Mouse - has a side button - looks like a contender.

Have to go do real work now..... post here if you find anything

Re: good mouse?

See Corded optical mice

Corded mice > wireless cause you know the second you really need it your mouse drops signal or runs out of batteries.

Re: good mouse?

--OK most people are going to tell you one of the Logitech Series Mice and yes they are a great buy. But personally I would go for a Razer DeathAdder or another Razer mouse, they are the best on the market and have a great feel. They have the two side buttons by your thumb and etc. If you want the best performance choose Razer =D

This is what I have. Although it is corded, it has the left, right, and wheel along with two side buttons, it has served me well, no problems. There is also a small button under the mouse wheel with folder pic on it, not sure what it does, and have never bothered trying to find out.

Re: good mouse?

I have the Copperhead (I think, took me a while to tell them apart at the razer site), and I have to agree- it's hands-down the best mouse I've ever used. I think I'm going to get another flavor for my MBP.

Looking at the Deathadder, since it's for right-handed people (as opposed to ambidextrous) - but has anyone tried the Lachesis? It has 2 extra top buttons - the positioning looks kinda janky though.

Edit: Looks like Razer has a BT mouse as well!

Here is a review of the Lachesis.

Re: good mouse?

that what i said in the other thread, there is no way you can order a 60€ mouse over the internet, you definitly have to go to the store and see how they fit in your hand.

Re: good mouse?

Oh, how I wish there was a store near me that had a wide selection of gaming mice on display. Closest I can get is my local Best Buy, which only carries 1-2 different types of each brand, and often doesn't have display versions out to test.
