Interview With the Vampire
I just bought Interview with the Vampire yesterday and rewatched it for like the 10th time, but anyway, what is the huge link between it and Queen of the Damned? Does it take place before? After? What's up with it? I'm confused  . I'm sure there is at least one Queen of the Damned fanatic *cough* Akasha *cough* out there that can clear it up for me.

Interview With the Vampire
i read Fight Club and Survivor by Chuck P...(can't remember the last name. both were very good. i don't read much anymore but for some reason i'm getting compelled to buy Anthony Kiedis' biography called Scar Tissue. i heard him on the radio to do and it sounded like an interesting read.

Interview With the Vampire
having read the first three books (Interview, Vampire Lestat, and Queen Damned), i can tell you that Queen of the Damned does happen after.
what bothers me though is that they skipped the Vampire Lestat. i loved that novel and out of the three it was my favorite. they did take some parts of the novel and put it into the Queen of the Damned movie, but they also left out a lot of good stuff. i also noticed how they seemed to skip all the gay stuff that's in the novels. guess society just isn't ready for gay/bisexual vampires. read the books though, much better. |
