Polemic ahead!

copied it from another forum, donīt feel in the mood to rewrite it all here.

I am so furios!

3 weeks ago my old guild disbanded (3rd on server) and many of us got an offer from the best guild on the server to join them, so me and a few other took the opportunity to join them. So far so good.

Now 3 IDīs later i am at open war with all other warlocks. I know they have the gear, but they lack skill. Of course they usually do slightly better due to the gear difference, but sometimes i perform better, even though, they massively outgear me.

I am one item short of my 4piece-t6 bonus, and everytime (3 IDs MH/BT/Sunwell up to felmyst clear)a piece drops (at least 3 per ID) i get told that i ainīt long enough with them, or the other have been with them longer. Fair enough some might think, but i see it that way: I perform, they bring me along to bosses and i do perform exceedingly well i think i should have the same right for items as they have. People get their 5th or 6th t6 item instead of me getting my 4th piece making me perform even better.
I quaff flasks and pots(they rarely do), while they bring twinks to MH, so i can make up for what they lack, yet itīs not rewarded.

The 2 IDs before we joined they didnīt manage to down Brutallus (theyīve downed him before), since i am with them we downed him 1st and 2ned attempt two IDs in a row.
I donīt mean to bragg, i just want to point out that i am certainly valuable for them as it is now.

As i stated before, i can see that some/most may argue that i am the "new guy" and should take a step back and wait, but on the other hand i always give 120% and that shows in wws. I am there to fill a hole, i am there to wipe and i am there to bring down bosses with the, so why the heck should i not at least get a chance to roll on items instead of just being a raid-filler (which i am certainly not).
I see it that way, if you need me to kill a boss, you should definitly considder me in sharing the loot with me. Especially since it would give me, probably the biggest in endgame, boost for warlocks there.

Does anyone feel with me?

Re: Polemic ahead!

First, take a breath.

I can see why you're so angry and it won't do you any good. I wouldn't go around spouting, "You can't down this boss without me" to the guild...that's not the right attitude. Raids are all about teamwork and if some people are performing to the right level....

Does the GL/RL know about these performance issues? What is the comparison your using to dictate what is the acceptable performance level? Not using pots, flasks, and food buffs is inexcusable imho and the RL should certainly know about that. Talk to the officers and GL about your concerns and issues.

I'm in a fairly small guild and we all know each other so it is rare for something like this to happen. We all know when one person is underperforming and we tell them so. Call for a truce with the other locks as an open battle between them and you will only affect the raid. It becomes more about you in the end than progression and improvement.

They may be there longer, but if they heavily outgear you and you are consistently equaling their output or surpassing them, someone needs to be aware of that. A fully geared T6 lock should be more than enough to blow most people out of the water.

That's my 2 copper.
