Boredom-relieving nonsense

So we all know the Den is the best place on the whole intarweb for warlock info, help, and advice. But sometimes, especially on a boring workday, I think we are a little *too* serious and focused on our job of being the biggest badasses in WoW.

I propose some silly, unimportant but fun threads to make us smile now and then during the day. One topic I was thinking about was how people now "hang out" on forums and become regulars. I hang out here and read a lot but I don't post much, so I'm not sure I'd call myself a regular. Still, this is the forum I spend the most time on.

What forums are YOU a "regular" on?

Re: Boredom-relieving nonsense

I read this forum every day, many times a day. I guess you could say I'm a "regular", even though I don't post very often. The only other forum that I frequent is for the Pickens Plan. So as not to appear too "political" or controversial or whatever, I won't explain it. Look it up if you want to.

Here, Here!

Though this site is very serious I do respect the fact that it is kept spam free and chalk-full of useful information. It makes me scared to Post anything here because I just don't have the time to read everything and I'm n00bsauce the way it is. I pretty much use this site, WoW Official Forums, Thottbot, wowhead & Allakhazam the most.

Re: Boredom-relieving nonsense

Well, the masses did not flock to this thread, but I'm happy to see a few people were willing to share a bit about themselves. We are certainly a focused bunch! I thought the Pickens site was interesting, too.

I'll post something equally useless tomorrow and see if anyone else takes the bait! Maybe y'all just have to warm up to the idea... Hope everyone has a good evening - only 10 more minutes til I can go home, eat dinner, and play WoW!

Nope, but PLEASE feel free to start one - especially with any of those mini Funniest Home Video types ones, I luuuuuurve those!

It's funny to read that some people feel the forum is so serious, which I guess it true yes. It's not funny that it's become serious (has it?), it's funny because I am so far from being serious all the time in real life. Most of my days are spent squealing, pulling faces, blowing raspberries etc... and that's just with my husband! lol.

I'm a very easy going person, although I do notice I spend more time writing 'serious' posts here than anything. My blog on the other hand tends to show my more wacky nature. I'd post more of that here, but for some reason I'm only seen as the 'admin' and not just a regular member by a lot of people. Shame too as I have the ability to post more regularly with the introduction of the laptop...

In regards to forums you visit - this on, obviously. At the moment my other ones tend to be baby related however, and even then I don't really post much, more just browse when needed. Plus, any time I do get to browse and post is usually spent working on this site or real life stuff. But if I'm not doing any of the above, I'm usually on Ebay... unfortunately says my partner...

But yes, I'm all for more 'fun' threads - there's the Off Topic, Tavern and Movies section to make use of!

Uh oh... E-bay... danger! danger! hehe

A shopping site that I check every day is Woot! They sell one item per day. I bought a robot vacuum cleaner who vacuumed my bedroom yesterday while I was at work. Love it!

Re: Boredom-relieving nonsense

Not to move traffic off the Den, but there is a daily thread on the wow warlock boards for BAWC, the bored at work crew. I was in on day 2, back when I had TONS of trolling time at work. It's exactly what your talking about, a bunch of regulars just hanging out. Might try dropping a line in there.
