Anyone else playing Guild Wars this weekend?

I plan to, I've got the client downloaded, only 61kb. If anyone else is gonna check it out, let me know, maybe we can hook up in game.

Basically all PvP...from what I've taken from previous posts doesn't really seem like your thing, instant leveling, team PvP....

Ahh PvP, yeah most likely not my thing... Have fun though!

I'm actually house sitting for the next 5 days, means no internet apart from when I stop past home during the day for a few hours :sad:

hmmm, I didn't see much at all about PvP. Guild Wars is supposed to be an MMORPG type game. No monthly fee. All encounters are in Instances. All players are together (no separate servers). And it is supposed to have a lot of in game Guild support. Guild Wars is created by a bunch of people that left Blizzard supposedly when Blizzard decided to make World of Warcraft a pay-to-play game, including the original designer of battle.net. I don't really see any reason not to try it, guess that is just me. Pretty painless download, only 60 some kb for the client. Although, I just fired it up and it is downloading more content.

Oh cool! I am logged in, creating a character ... Definitely check it out, if nothing else just to look at the models

Especially the female models, the elementalist looks the best to start I think ...

w00t! It looks like the server(s) are up! Been playing a little. The graphics are amazing, animation is smooth too. Too bad Survivor is coming on in a few minutes or I would play more
