my first tattoo
Hey all gunna get me my first tattoo soon just wanted to know if there are any artistic peeps out there im looking for a design which incorperates the letters M E T in it but anything else goes as long as it looks cool if any1 one can come up with a cool design i might just go ahead and use it .

I have a few tattoo's myself and one of my ex-guild mates was a full time tattoo artist. I think he'd tell you exactly what I am about to - think very hard about what your tattoo means, if you really want it, and that being the case, what design you want. Most tattoo artists are more than happy to work with you to develop something unique so as long as you go in there with a few ideas about designs,lettering styles, that kind of thing then their artistic knowledge does the rest. Just make sure you're happy with something you'll have for the rest of your life

how bout the symbol for Alliance w/ the letters M E T under it , JK but seriusly i have a few as well and my suggestion is to have an idea of what you want before going, cause the artist will need some input from you and the more input you can give the easier it wil b to create, GL

Having quite a few tattoos myself, my advice falls in line with the others. Go in with a few good ideas of what you are looking for and work with the artist to come up with something you like. I have also found that the more the artist is allowed to be in on the creation process, the more they often tend to care about the quality of their work. I say that only because of the proliferation of tattoo parlors these days. I know many a tattoo artist that puts the same level of quality and expertise in their work regardless of whether its custom or flash. |

Gaming tattoos aren't unprecedented. Back when I was playing EvE Online this EVE Files: DSC00990.JPG came about. It's the logo of one of the factions in the universe (non playable at that). If the extent of your input is M E T and "something cool" you should think about it a bit more. |

I will say this as for your first it is a big deal. make sure you are happy with it and that after you get it to look after it properly casue i have seen many people destroy their tattoo's by bot followign the artists advice for care. Also as was said above if you want somehting custom go to the place you want to get the tattoo done (do some research on this first as it is very important) and speak to teh artists and get them to help you come up with something as they are usually fairly happy to do this as its what they do. My first and currently my only tattoo was not custom it was something i found on the internet was something the artist i chose after many high recomendations had not done before so it took a while (be prepared customs ink usually takes longer than a design from the books they have on display) and just felt that little bit better when it was all done. |

I'm thinking of getting a tattoo myself. I was thinking an Orc Warlock wearing Corruptor gear, surrounded by his demons, with a great demon shadow behind him to symbolize Metamorphosis. What do you think about a motif like that?

Tatoo's are great, I have one, make sure whatever you get means something to you and something you are passionate about. I have a very unique not the standard Barbed wire around my upper arm with an american flag wrapped around it. that is something I will always be passionate about, thats my only advice I would suggest looking at Tattoo Designs – Largest tattoo gallery online. Ideas and art pictures for Tribal, Celtic, butterfly, cross, fairy, flower, lower back, dragon, sun, star, armband tattoos & more. for ideas you can build off of from there. good luck, and yes going under the arm does hurt but you got to suck it up and do it right :p My arm band goes all the way around. if you go the arm band route, suck up the pain and do it right, wrap it around all the way.*** Information added 3 Minutes and 20 Seconds later... *** Quote:

If you're dead set on getting an Orc Warlock (and I would advise Wow Picture Viewer to help with designs) then its not for us to try and persuade you out of something which is clearly a significant part of your life and not a passing fancy. What I would ask is that you share pictures of your ink when its done
