Any Twitterers?
Curious if anyone here is on Twitter? I caved and joined due to a lot of friends on there, and due to the course I'm taking... But I also created a Warlocks Den twitter and was wondering if others are on it. Figured I could use it to post when news threads are done, link to interesting threads, etc. What do you guys think? It's taken me a while to figure out the "Twitter" concept. I recently read an article about Twitter and Facebook. Facebook could easily absorb or make twitter obsolete if they just tweaked a few things, but fundamentally they're opposites. Facebook is all about contacting already known friends, while Twitter is about creating a following/making new friends. Read away, this guy explains it better than I could. My understanding is that Twitter is just like the status update on Facebook with no extra frills. Just status updates.

Technically i use twitter as a sort of micro blogging. Also, it can be a great tool to encourage people to visit your site! I read some great articles on how Twitter can help you out, like this one i read in CNN i think were you can use it to find information on lets say travel destinations or to hear about bad customer service etc. Anyways just started following The DEN! |

Dude... you actually go into the bank? I don't think I've been inside a bank in 3 years... do all my banking online and just hit machines for cash. I've managed to avoid most grocery shopping as well. Plus, if I did do that what do you think the reaction would be of the person I talked to?
