That would depend on the nature of your comment. Threads are usually closed for a reason, one of which includes the termination of all discussion/commenting of a subject that the mods feel will come to no good.

If it is something directed at the Moderators, I would suggest using the "Contact a Moderator" thread to discuss it. Fear not, no harm will come to you. Otherwise, as Rutiene has said, those threads are closed for a reason. It's usually best to let sleeping dragons lie.

What if I wanted to say thank you to the community at large for a spirited and often insightful discussion. Sorry that some commented on the views of others instead of the issue at hand, but perhaps it can be considered a lesson learned. Honored to take part in what I am certain is only a small part of a discussion going on in forums around the internet and to participate in discussion concerning a moment that is certain to be recorded in MMO history as a milestone, one way or another. And also to say thank you to Akasha for hosting our little retreat here where we can have such discussion. Can I do that for a locked thread? |

It's still open for discussion at WoWi and the official forums. Frankly, imo, it's been done to death already, and brings to mind a room full of people with fingers in their ears shouting as loud as they can.
