What do you do on Patch day?

As every Black Tuesday (Patch Day/Service Maintenance) approaches, I often wonder what the heck am I going to do with myself while waiting for the server(or servers - yes I have several alts on several realms) to come back online.

I have recently broke the habit of sitting in front of my PC trying to log in every 5 mins or so and have decided to emerge myself from my basement office. Most recently with the 1.12 Patch, I discovered I had another life outside of WOW! In fact, I am married and have a dog and 3 cats (which is funny cause I only remember getting 2 cats)!

Today, Blizzard has informed me, as well as everyone else on my realm, that our server will be down for 12hrs today and than an additional 8 hrs tomorrow. With all this new found time, I have no clue what to do with myself...So I ask you, my fellow WarCrack addicts, What do you do on patch day?

Not a darn clue. I'll have to say HEY next time I'm on since I'm hellscream too. I'm going to go from 7/31/13 to 0/30/21 next time I get money too. I broke the bank dropping tailoring to learn Engineering, so I can't really afford to respec.

I'm probably going to play Diablo II LoD or something, get my Blizzard game fix in that way.

I play another MMO that is in Beta when WoW is down or I won't have the time to raid. It's a nice change of pace. Only way to truely feed the addiction is with another.. although the list of new talents has me only thinking about Burning Crusade. D**n you Blizzard... and your little Murky too!

I'm usually at work during patch days, but here are a few things that I would do if I were at home when that misfortune befell me.

1) Read one of the many books I have (I have a tendency to buy more books than I know I'll get around to reading).

2) Watch a movie or 5.

3) Pretend I'm a pterodactyl.

4) Pretend everyone else is food.

5) Call friends and annoy them.

i've downloaded all seasons of House :P that's a lot of material to go through :P

and btw, you remember you got 2 cats? well i've got an explanation how you got the 3rd cat, but i'm baffled how they could ever produce a dog! :P

well brows you tube for some wow movies, clean up the house and feed the cat and download new addons or update the ones i have, or just stare at the computer and work on somthing, waiting till the servers pop back on.

They patch during the day here, usually wednesday betweed 7-11 i think, since im at work when the patches are done it doesnt really effect me.

I generally crawl into a corner in a fetal position...... whine and whimper through several hours of withdrawal.... moving periodically to check if WoW is back up.

Much wailing and gnashing of teeth until resurrection occurs then I log on and the shakes all disappear. Feels so good.
