Need some advice please.
Hello there, just a quick question.
I'm a 54 Warlock and still wearing the Enchanted Gold Bloodrobe. Obviously in around 4 levels time I will be going to Outlands but in between I could use an upgrade. I've had a look around on item sites but all the decent robes with +Damage on them seem to be Tailoring drops from places like Strat or Scholo which no one seems to goto now. I've considered the Shadoweave Robe but the lack of stats compared to the Bloodrobe doesn't seem to warrant changing - even for the +Damage So I was wondering if someone here could suggest a good quick fix chest item until I get to Outlands. Many Thanks |

Re: Need some advice please.
Frankly: don't bother. Just wait until you hit the outlands, that's pretty soon. Unless you want to run instances between here and there, it doesn't matter, since there are several very good chest rewards for you in Hellfire peninsula, and that's just in four levels. I had the shadowcast tunic for a while, which got replaced by the netherweave robe. Both are great, and shadowcast is available very early on.
If you want, you could always PvP a little. The blue PvP rewards are pretty decent, and you can get two pieces (for the +23 spelldamage) in a weekend of grinding, especially if you do AV on an honor weekend. But anything you get, you'll just be replacing really quickly anyway, so I wouldn't sweat it. |

Thanks Mate.
I may as well wait, it's only 4 levels but I still kind of feel stupid running around in a level 31 Robe at 54. |

Re: Need some advice please.
You can start outlands at 58. This quest can be done in your first few hours in Outland. http://thottbot.com/?qu=10895 I'm not sure about the requirements leading up to it, but I do know I've done it on 2 chars now, and it comes suprisingly early.

Re: Need some advice please.
Ditto on those comments above. And to take it one step further, don't go around upgrading ANYTHING you have just to do it. I completely replaced every single piece of equipment and armor that I had in the first week in the Outlands, and I played maybe 10-15 hours total. Just work on leveling to 58, then get over there to the Land of Untold Riches...

AV was last weekend. EotS was the weekend before...so it looks like AB will be next weekend. |
