Frozen Shadoweave - Oblivion Set - Choices!

Hey, I have my tailoring up to the 344 (its taking forever at this point) and am trying to plan for the future...

So, what do you guys think, try to get my oblivion set, or work on getting the frozen shadoweave set. I like the extra damage from the Frozen shadoweave set, but wonder if taking the hit on the +spell (for the non-shadow) is worth it. What are you other tailors doing?

Thanks!

Re: Frozen Shadoweave - Oblivion Set - Choices!

Its a pretty good set esp since if you do raid the first T4 you will prob get will be the gloves so you won't have to replace any of it soon.

The lack of +damage vs +shadow isn't really an issue I have 2/3 of them now and am sitting at 600 damage and 700 shadow with 18% crit (9/11/41) build. It works fine for a more dest build and SB spam/crits - should be ok for afflic too but it should serve you well until you can move up to the T4 gear or PVP gear.

BTW level up tailoring will suck alot after 350 and from 365-375 it is even worse.

Also I have a trade going on with a priest in my guild for primal mooncloths for shadowweave so we both can finish faster crafting our gear.

I'm going for the shadoweave set and the oblivion set, just nice to have the choice

I'm also trading a priest in my guild my mooncloth for his shaoweave, and a mage my spellfire for his shadoweave. The only drawback with this is the amount of time I have to spend farming primals, but I do get 4 shadoweave every 4 days.

just buy primal life (unless you're an herbalist). It's pretty cheap. I usually get lazy and just buy the primals, except for primal water which is absurdly easy to fish/farm.

Hmm. Primal Water is really expensive at our server. Well all primals but life and earth are.

As a transmute specialist, I have all my farming spots for now (skipping elemental plateau unless day-time).

On topic:
I dropped 375 herbalism to powerlevel to 355 tailoring in 3 days. I just needed the damn shoulders . And the other pieces are just as good.
