not a quest but more quests
I generally like to follow some type of story line/quest line, but I'm stuck.
I'm level 18 sitting in the inn at sentinel hill waiting to get into DM group no more quests in that area (that I knowof ). I just have 2 quests for DM - the main one from the guard captian and a gnome in the dwarven sector of SW - but I was told there was more (like 4 total). Anyone know of where I might find more while waiting?I have also followed the redridge quests to where they are all RED now, not even a orange left undone (go locks). But I just hate waiting there lfg, and Im a believer quests are faster xp than grinding not to mention more fun. What other zone can I get to that is near (dont know the area too well) and get more quests so I'm not just sitting there? Please and thank you for your comments. <--that guy |

Re: not a quest but more quests
Just so happens I have a "not quite finished" Dreadmines guide floating around.
Quests: Collecting your Quests Most players will start looking for a Deadmines group after completing The Defias Brotherhood quest series. Before you rush in though, be sure to run around gathering the other quests for this instance… one stone, many birds. [22] The Defias Brotherhood Obtained from : Gryan Stoutmantle, Sentinel Hill, Westfall Objective : Kill Edwin VanCleef and bring his head to Gryan Stoutmantle. Experience : 2600 xp Details: -This quest is not sharable. This quest is part of a chain. -The first step for this quest chain is [18] The Defias Brotherhood which is obtained from Gryan Stoutmantle at Sentinel Hill in Westfall. You need to reach level 14 in order to qualify for this quest, which sends you to Wiley in one of the upstairs room of the Lakeshire Inn at Redridge Mountains. -Once you have seen Wiley, return his note to Gryan Stoutmantle and pick up the follow on step, which sends you to Marthias Shaw -Marthias Shaw can be found inside SI:7 in The Old Town section of Stormwind. As you enter Old Town from The Trade District, head south-east and you will see the yellow dot appear on your screen. -After you have seen Marthias, return to Gryan Stoutmantle and then track down the Defias Messenger. The Messenger spawns in Moonbrook, east of the fountain, just before the road turns north. He then walks along the Old Coast Road until he gets near the Gold Coast Quarry, where he then runs down the ravine and into the Quarry. When he returns from inside the Quarry he continues up the road to the Jangolode mine, where he heads inside. If he has made it this far without being killed he will amble back towards Moonbrook and start all over again. The respawn time is about 4 and a half minutes, and it's probably easiest to just hang around Moonbrook, he will either spawn there or show up eventually. He will attack non Human’s even though he is a yellow con, particularly if you are fighting other Defias and when he runs, he hauls butt so be prepared. -Once you have returned The Messenger’s letter, you are ready to go get Van Cleef’s head. [20] Underground Assault Obtained from : Shoni the Shilent, Dwarven District, Stormwind Objective : Retrieve the Gnoam Sprecklesprocket Experience : 160 xp Details: -This quest is shareable. -If you’re passing through Ironforge anytime from level 15 or so onwards, speak with Gnoarn in Tinker Town Ironforge. Location just out from the Deeprun Tram, he will give you a quest to come and see Shoni. This step is not required, but will give you 25xp… don’t bother going out of your way to get it. -The Gnoam Sprecklesprocket drops from Sneed's Shredder. More detail on the actual fight below… [18] Collecting Memories Obtained from : Wilder Thistlenettle, Dwarven District, Stormwind Objective : Retrieve 4 Miners' Union Cards Experience : 140 xp Details: -This quest is shareable. -If you enter the Dwarven District in Stormwind from Old Town, the first building on your right directly after entering is where you will find Wilder. -This is the quest requires you to collect 4 Miners' Union Cards for. These actually drop outside the instance and as a lot of people don’t seem to know about this quest, you might need to notify your group you need to kill mobs before entering [20] Oh Brother… Obtained from : Wilder Thistlenettle, Dwarven District, Stormwind Objective : Retrieve Foreman Thistlenettle's Explorers' League Badge Experience: 160 xp Details: -This quest is shareable. -This is another quest that is actually done before you enter the instance, in the same area as the above quest which makes it nice and easy. Foreman Thistlenettle is at the end of the 'purple area' and drops his badge every time. [17] Red Silk Bandanas Obtained from : Scout Riell, Sentinel Hill, Westfall Objective : Collect 10 Red Silk Bandanas Experience: 130 xp Details: -Not to be confused with Red Leather Bandanas, this quest becomes available only after you have escorted the Defias Traitor in The Defias Brotherhood series. -You also must compete the Red Leather Bandanas quest before you can pick this one up. -Scout Riell is located on top of the tower at Sentinel Hill. If she does not give you the quest, make sure you have done both steps listed above. -The Silk bandanas will drop of any elite defies both inside and outside the instance. Note they drop more commonly inside… |

Re: not a quest but more quests
Where to go I can't help you with I'm afraid... it's been a very long time since I played Alliance. I do remember having to bounce around between Westfall and Redridge at the 15 - 18 mark, and then between Redridge and Duskwood around the 18 - 20 mark.
What level does Wetlands start for Alliance? |

Re: not a quest but more quests
Yeah you're in a sort of sticky place around your level. My suggestion is to grind it out in Redridge to 21. Use an occasional Deadmines rune to make it less boring and so you can gear up.
Once you're 21, head down to Darkshire. You'll fly through questing to at least 26. |
