PVP neck...?
I have a crappy neck atm (that quest reward chain neck you get in Nagrand, from Gordawg) with 11 intel and a bit of crit and spell damage +. Ive got around 18000 honor, which is the cost of Pendant of Dominance, a very nice necklace with 31 stam, 12 intel , 26 spell dam + and 16 resillience. Though ive also got crappy gloves (lv70 green 'of the sorceror') and average pants (from old hillsbrad first boss), so I was thinking of going HWL's gloves + pants for the resillience bonus (I'm thinking of starting up an arena team with a few friends) Basically, my question is...is the neck worth it over HWL's? I have almost completed my shadoweave tailoring set and was looking at spellstrike stuff, but probably won't bother farming mats in the near future. Any help would be great, thanks. |

The gladiator set is much better than the HWL one, and the gloves are worth about 1000 arena points which is quite easy to get to. I wouldn't suggest spending your honor on such items. To get "waiting" pants you can go for the halaa reward pants, they have 10 spelldamage and 10 stamina less than the pvp pants, but with the same resilience and a yellow socket. For the neck, have you looked into this ? http://www.thottbot.com/i31693 The neck can be obtained through a soloable short questline. |

Another option for a PvP neck is the Potent Sha'tari Pendant. Definitely much more difficult to get than the previously presented option, but nice for the resilience it provides. If you plan on running Arcatraz you might as well do the key chain, and this is the reward at the very end of the chain. The chain gives lots of tasty Sha'tar rep.

I've got Natasha's...and I'm planing on wearing that until I have the honor for the pvp neck myself. But it's on a wait-list atm since I only have the pvp cloak right now. Going for the pvp belt, then the pvp bracers first, then will save up for the neck (already have the marks for all 3...so it's just honor farming left). As for the set pieces, I totally agree the gladiator set > pvp set by far.
