Shadoweave Gear

So from CPs gear guide, I am going to go for the Shadoweave set for leveling my 33 'lock... now it comes to my attention that in order to do this I need 23 pieces of shadow silk... here comes the question:

Where is the best place to farm shadow silk? It is 1G per on my server and has been for some time. And unfortunatley this is my only char on this server. I plan to be 50 before next is over, so I can't really afford to buy it.

Level 35-40: Spiders in Dustwallow Marsh/Swamp of Sorrows
Level 40-45: Spiders in The Hinterlands
Level 50+: Spiders in Western Plaguelands

Actually as I recall, spiders in plaguelands drops ironweb spider silk. Good place for shadow silk is searing gorge. And if you are tailor, there was a quest there to kill some smugler. When you do it, you retrieve some kinda bag and in my case there was like 15 shadow silk in it.

i've been collecting shadow silk right before hitting 40 from the auction house. everytime i see a low bid or buyout, i just bid or buyout. i got 2 stacks of 10 for about 40-45 silver and the rest individually for around 10 silver each. just save all your mageweave. it took me about a week to get all my mats slowly, the silken thread costing the most. i just didn't feel like grinding the spiders. it was easier to recuperate the costs from skinning or mining rather than waste time traveling looking for spiders. sadly, even though i have all the mats, i do not have a shadoweave tailor in my guild and everyone wants to make me the 3 piece dreamweave set. :( i have all the mats for the set but i'm undecided because the shadoweave seem more appropriate for a lock.
