Dreadsteed Quest Changed

The dreadsteed quest guide says that you need 35X blackdragon scales for a quest. When in fact, after just recieving the quest it says that i need 3

Wow, was that changed in the last patch or something?

Can anyone else confirm this?

It was changed in the 2.1 patch. I heard about it while it was on PTR. I also have a surplus of black dragonscales.

I am very close to getting that quest and already collected 11 scales. Luckily I didnt buy any more recently.

Me too, i finnished mine the week-end before the patch came out... They should put a special tatoo on the dreads that costed 35 dragonscale, so we'd know who has a REAL one and not a cheap one of those days :p (just kiddin' ofc)

Ya, kinda pissed me off when I heard they were making it easier. Mind you, I had just finished the quest and am now riding my very own dreadsteed so I guess I can be somewhat happy for those more fortunate souls that don't have to run around burning steeps spamming for a skinner to help a poor gnome out. Strange how alchemy gets such big business out of the quest, mining gets an ok boost, and skinning got nerfed out of the deal.

I'm an alchemist, so I'm happy!!!

2 more transmutes to go, then I'm off to BS to (hopefully) collect the last part of the quest

Wow i didnt know my post would get this many replies 0_o. Im already on the imp quest now but no one at all does scholo anymore

Yea you have to have your guild help you out for that one, only need a few level 70s though.
