pvp gear

CP's guide is the most awesomess guide eva but doesnt seem to cover pvp stuff. Searching for pvp and bg doesnt show up any results, i think the phrases are too short.

Can someone point me to info on pvp and arena gear, or share what are must-have rewards from BG/arenas? im building the frozenweave set atm in prep for 70.

pvp gear is achieved from pvp. do bg's and get the full honor set, do arena and get the full arena set, all high end players have the same cookie cutter gear.

World PvP at Auchindoun:

Exorcist's Dreadweave Helm

Craftables:
Thick Felsteel Necklace (costs around 50g to make)
Unyielding Girdle
Resolute Cape
Unyielding Bracers

Honor Rewards:
Anything from the GM/HWL 70 set (get the gloves first)
Veteran's Gear

Start replacing/adding pieces from Arena once points start flowing in.

Basically, just collect as much stam and resilience as possible. Shoot for 10k health and 200 resilience. I'm about 2-3 gear pieces away from that. Ideally, you want over 300 resilience and 12-13k health from everything I've read and seen.

The good part about PvP gear is its guaranteed. Just put in the time and effort and you will get it. Its taking me awhile because of work and now school, but I'll get there soon.

Neck - Potent Sha'tari Pendant (Quest Reward)
Shoulder - FSW Shoulders (Crafted)
Chest - FSW Robe (Crafted)
Back - Mithril-Bark Cloak (Looking for Drop from Laj in The Botanic)
Wrist - Unyielding Bracers (Crafted)
Belt - Unyielding Girdle (Crafting)
Legs - Battlecast Pants (Crafting)
Boots - FSW Boots (Crafted)
Mainhand - Continuum Blade (Drop)
Offhand - Orb of the Soul-Eater (Heroic Badge)
Wand - Wand of the Netherwing (Drop)
Ring - Seal of the Exorcist (Spirit Shard)
Ring - Ashyen's Gift (Vendor)
Trinket - Talisman of the Horde (Trying to get from Honor)

Edit: Just found this interesting trinket Goblin Rocket Launcher. Has high stamina and can stun for 3 sec, but sadly you will be knock down for the 1st 2 sec. Still good for your Succy to cast seduce though.

That looks to be pretty good. For your FSW set though I would still socket it like you are using it for PvE, because its a waste of good gear to gem it like its a PvP set, IMO. You are going to want to upgrade to the Veteran's Gear when you can for your boots, bracers, and belt, as well as your necklace and ring slot. Make sure to get the HWL gloves as well.

There are 3 pieces of engineering which are worth using in Arena. If you are engineer i would propose to test all three, im actually still using all of them.

1) Goblin Rocket Launcher
2) Nigh Invulnerability Belt
3) Destruction Holo Gogs

Note that you need to be Goblin engineer to use all 3 - have fun

If you want a nice trinket to use until the next patch, get the Six Demon Bag. It gets the bonus of your spell damage, so it scales. I use it all the time and it's a free 1k shot.

It's getting nerfed in the next patch.
