LF gear..Fire warlock :)

I've recently copied some pre made character to the 2.2 PTR, a warlockof course

and then i decided to try to go for a fire spec build(0/21/40)..played with it abit and i must say that it was really reallyfun. on my real character i'm affliction at the moment (43/0/18) andit's ok and all but i'm getting abit bored of it :(
so..i was thinking, what if i'll go fire spec on my real character..myonly problem now is that some of my gear is shadow (and frost in somecases) only gear. (i.e FSW Chest, Boots and the Trash drop necklessfrom karazhan (+51 shadow damaga).

I'm here asking you for gear that might do good for fire spec

instead of the ones i have (for the neckless i have the moroes's onealready). so i actually need a new chest, offhand (i have the badgesone), and boots..i need them to drop from karazhan\gruul'slair\megathridon's lair

or be bought via badges (i have like 30 at the moment).

Why are you intent as playing 0/21/40 as fire? It performs better as shadow, not to mention you're already geared for shadow.

I agree. There isn't a lot of standout +fire gear besides the spellfire set. If I were you I'd look into 0/21/40 shadow, as it plays better into the gear you already have, and the only real difference is using Shadow Bolt as your primary nuke instead of Incinerate.

Sometimes you play just to have fun. Playing fire can be fun. It's a change, it looks cool. And if you know you'll always have fire mages but don't know that you'll always have shadow priests, then it's a perfectly viable spec. Particularly with the imp scorch buff and slightly better mana use, it's not bad.

For some reason, your armory profile gives me horrible freezing up if I mouse over the equipment, so am guessing from the graphics. If you want to go fire, you could change your tailoring to spellfire. There's a fire damage belt in Karazhan, You'll probably be more concerned with crit now, so go for the neck from Prince in Kara if you can, as well as the offhand from Nightbane. Until you can get neck, you can farm for the Brooch of Heightened Potential from Shadow Labyrinth. The crit boots from Maiden in Kara are nice. Either gem up with veiled or potent noble topazes, depending on whether you can pick up hit elsewhere. The Spellstrike set is very nice too. Try to max out your hit to 16% for bosses, but only need up to 5% for trash and instances.
