4pc T5 set bonus...0/21/40...corr worth casting?
With the T5 4piece set bonus SB causes Corruption damage to increase by 3% Incin causes Immo damage to increase by 3% Even though its not improved...is the 3% worth casting as a 0/21/04 spec? anyone do the #'s yet?

Keep in mind that corruption is .5 seconds less cast time so you need to check the DPCT not total damage. If 4/4 T5 imp Corr/2 >= average SB damage/2.5 then it is possibly worth it, however more than personal DPS the roll of the 21/40 shadow lock is to keep Imp SB proc up as often as possible, even having it drop for a second will decrease raid DPS more than you may ever gain from using corruption to take advantage of the T5 set bonus. Sorry I don't have any solid numbers, but off the top of my head thats how I would figure it out. |
