Does spell haste effect drains?
I was thumbing through the patch 2.3 gear previews and theres a ton of spell haste cloth gear. Does anybody know if this effects channeled drain spells? |

affects all channeled spells. Hellfire/RoF/drain life/drain soul. Having a blade of wizardy & Quag's eye proc before using Hellfire must be something special. Assuming you live long enough. |

I remember talking to a guildie who said that in some near-future patch, all casters will replace their +spell gears with spell haste gears. Honestly, I don't see it happening, if spell haste really doesn't make DOTs tick faster like he said it would. Mages will love it, but since when has Blizz made any changes that favored warlocks? |

Haste is for "cast" time, not channeling... So all spells with casttime are affected like UA, Immolate, SB, none improved corruption, Soulfire ect... |

It shortens the duration of channeled spells. Does the same amount of damage over a shorter period of time. I use immolate, and then drain life the moment I see it proc. |
