25 Badges of Justice, where to spend?

Finally I earned enough badges for some upgrades.

I will get both eventually but which should I go for first? Check my armory to let me know. I have a crap wand (which I seem to use less and less of) and an ok off-hand. I like the wand simply since it's socketed....but he off-hand is an obvious one.

Go for the orb of the soul eater hands down, that bad boy will last you for a loooooong while. Personally, regarding the wand....I would save those 25 tokens and just run slabs a few times to get the wand that drops off that ogre dude.

Currently I have about 30 badges and am thinking of saving up to get those bracers added in 2.3, the name escapes me at the moment, but hot diggity damn they look awesome!

i am still using the Flawless wand of shadow wrath ( +25 shadow damage)

I saved 25 badges and went w/ the Wand. I threw a +12 damage PvP gem in there (cost 6500 honor or so) to give me

+30 damage
+9 Stam
+15 Int

from the wand slot. I dont think that can be beat.

Im rocking Terroks Shadowstaff atm so the Orb was not a priority, but maybe if I buy the S1 spell blade that will change

Ahh see there is an interesting point...come a 2 handed staff this orb becomes useless....the wand will still be a factor.

Now I think the Shadow Damage is a huge bonus....but here lies and interesting discussion.

Depends. Not alot of good staffs in the game, if you get one that's great, but there are ALOT of good 1 handers, at all the different gear levels.

Almost all staffs you find at the same gear levels are not as good as these + Orb of the Soul Eater. Illidan drops a really nice staff though.

I think it really depends on the rest of your gear and what you already run and would like to run in the future. Many warlocks farm heroic UB for the black stalk, which is a nice epic wand with some crit. I have the flawless wand with +25 shadow damage when I'm farming or just want max spell damage. I also use a spellstone in some situations when I just want max crit or the ability to dispell. For raids/bosses I use my wand that dropped from Kara since it has some spell hit.
I have 73 badges in the bank as of last night and have no intention to buy the wand. I might not get any more gear. I already have the orb and icon. The audacity trinket has nice damage, but the /use won't do me much good in pve, which is what I do 99% of the time.
In comparison to the rest of the badge gear, I can't believe the orb is only 25 badges. For the amount of work that goes into 25 badges (especially now that you can do heroics at honored and get extra badges from dailies and Kara) it's possibly the best non-crafted gear in the game. Remember, for how easy it is to get. Obviously there is better gear farther down the road.
As soon as you can I would recommend replacing your staff with a comparable sword/dagger. I thought it would take me forever to get my Blade of the Archmage, but it really didn't. By itself it has about as much damage as your staff. Then add the orb and you're talking serious power.

CONTINUUM: 30 STAM 11 INT 8 HIT 121 DAM (+40 CHANT)

TOTAL: 232 DAMAGE 58 STAM 11 INT 11 CRIT 8 hit

The damage and stam are close, but as you see the Crit Rating you will get from the Staff and Wand combo suites a destro lock much better, maybe even all locks. If you like me and can never seem to get the dagger from prince or the sword from grulls to drop for you, and dont want to farm HH rep for Blade of the Archmage, the staff/wand combo works very good and is not that hard to get.

True, but if you combine orb with glad spellblade, which wont be hard to get come s3, you'll be looking at a much bettr combination, compared to using the badge wand and gladiator staff

Cos its hardly fair to compare Terroks staff to Continuum, since cont blade is the bare minimum for 70 locks, and terroks staff comes from a heroic
