Level 70 PVP gear - help
I was in the BGs when I was in my 30s, 40s and 50s. Instead of going back to the BGs at 68 or 69, like I should have, the lure of level 70 was too much so I didn't hit the BGs at all in my 60s. I am now woefully undergeared for the BGs but plan on going back, getting my rear end kicked repeatedly until I can build up enough honor for some phat PVP lewtz. I am confused however about S1, S2 and S3 gear. Can someone suggest a place to go to look at this gear to determine how much honor is needed for it. I really just don't understand the difference here although I know that Season 3 has started and the Season 3 gear is better than the previous gear. Also is there a tremendous difference between the gear you can get with arena points and the gear you can get with BG honor? If someone could suggest a link to find out about this gear and the differences between the arena gear and gear you can get with BG honor I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Here are the honor prices for S1 gear: http://www.wowinsider.com/2007/10/15...tems-revealed/ S2-3 are not available for honor currently - you have to win points in arena to get S2-3. Certain items from S3 also require a high rating (i.e. win) to obtain them. I would suggest getting into a fair amount of S1 gear before doing arena - arena is MUCH more brutal and unforgiving to undergeared folks. Good luck and remember not to cast fear on big red kitties!

Got it. One last question - I assume that the Season 1 gear is generally better than the BG PVP gear that you can get in Champion's Hall, right? Thanks. |

Season 1 gear IS the BG PVP gear now. The old blue high warlord stuff is gone. |

You get the other arena gear from the vendors in Area 52 in netherstorm(FYI)....i definetly suggest you get some of the s1 gear to tide you over...it will help in arena and BGs. I had over 50k in honor when the patch hit and purchased the s1 gloves and shoulders and the spell blade (and arena points which i spent on the s3 head to get that wing effect...hehe)....they increased my res from 209 to 343 and thats w/o adding any res gems...well worth the grind for honor. S3 head doesnt have wing effect if i remember. Its the S3 shoulder that gives it. |

ok a little off topic, but I just hit 61 and I have been doing some pvp stuff. When should I start to seriously worry about getting my AWESOME gear so I don't start getting butt handed to me on a regular basis |
