Re: Question :Is it possible to get 202 spellhit without raiding??
Dogwatch, Probably too late but the best senario (you can use next time you level up). Do all turn ins or run all the instances that you can BEFORE you do any quests for that faction. Example, you can turn in Arakkoa feathers up to honored, same for unidentified plant parts, zaxis insignia(this one may go beyond honored). Then do all the quests and it will get you through revered in most cases. That just leaves Exhalted to grind out. For honor hold/thralmar - No turn ins so just do the quests and run Shattered Halls or a heroic of any of them OVER and OVER. You can also do the daily PVP for honor as well. For Cenarion, Turn in unidentified plant parts until honored. All of the uncatergized species you get while turning them in should be saved until you are passed honored as they can be turned in after honored. The best place to grind plant parts is the dead mire on bog lords. You get Spoergear rep and good grinding money. Then you can run Steam Vaults normal or heroic. I have a Druid and it has been discussed ad nauseum about which is better and the consensus is running SV normal is the best option if you can find a group that will farm it. Running SV will get you about 1200 honor and if you are lucky a few Coilfang Armaments worth another 750 honor (250 each) So if you just have to grind out Exhalted (21000 rep) its roughly 10-12 full SV runs. For Sha'tar - don't do any Sha'tar quests or instances until you get Scyre/Aldor rep up. You get Sha'tar rep when you turn in your Scryer/Aldor turn ins up to Sha'tar Honored. Then do Sha'tar quests instances. keepers of time - Once you have done Durnhole and BM once and finished the quests for each one, you are going to be honored easy. You just have to grind out Exhalted running BM over and over and over. Lower City - Grind on Arakkoa in Terrokar and turn in Feathers. Not only do you get rep, you also get a bag with greens and pots so its a good grind money wise. then do all Lower City rep quests followed by instance runs. wowwiki has great pages for each faction rep and how to get it. Just do a search for (insert faction name here) rep and it will give you a clear cut guide. |

Re: Question :Is it possible to get 202 spellhit without raiding??
I have 202 spell hit with 1 piece of Kara gear (neck). If I trade some VNT for GD, then I could have at or over 202 spell hit w/o a single piece of raid gear. Also, I don't have the scryers trinket (I'm dumb, I chose aldor). I'm currently in my PvP gear on armory- but if anyone wants proof - let me know and I will log out with my Raid gear tonight

Gritz, I don't need "proof," but I would love to take a look. If you don't mind, and you happen to remember, please log out in your raid gear.

One question... aside from AV, why is 202 hit useful if you aren't going to raid? |

It doesn't look that difficult, when you put it like that. Thanks Gritz.

Re: Question :Is it possible to get 202 spellhit without raiding??
I hit 202 spell hit last night, with my acquisition of the Spellstrike hood. My damage has dropped, though. Is this normal? I'm assuming that this would be the difference between my "trash" and my "boss" gear (I kept my old pieces, so I can swap 'em out as needed). A few other things will help - a different set of bracers, gemmed for PvE rather than PvP (only use Vindicator dreadweave now, with +resil/sta gem. Yeah, I know), and the oblivion gloves will allow me to do some gem swapping. |

Re: Question :Is it possible to get 202 spellhit without raiding??
Here is a slightly old post I made about it: The Warlocks Den Forums - View Single Post - Need to find out what is wrong This doesn't take into account the new gloves from regular Magisters that drop from Kael. There are also alternatives to the other Kara drops, slightly less good but nonetheless good, |
