Gearing to raid as a newly 70 lock
I put together a ct profile with what I thought looked like some great gear to start off raiding with. I am told affliction is best spec untill you have 202 spell hit then go destro and just spam shadowbolts.
The link to the profile is here: http://ctprofiles.net/35365 If I will have access to SSC/TK right away is it worth making the Frozen Shadoweave set, or is this stuff easily replaceable. As far as I can tell Spellstrike will last until BT. This is all gear that can be created, gotten with badges, or rep besieds the cloak, gloves, and neck; which are all from Kara. I am about to start Outlands and plan on farming the mats for this stuff as I level up, but I don't want to waste effort making anything that will be quickly replaceable. Thank you |

Re: Gearing to raid as a newly 70 lock
even if you have access will EVERY loot be defaulted to you?
bear in mind also that if you walk into SSC in greens and blues, you could literally be a dead weight, which basically means a 24man clear of the 2 instance destruction is more then about hit, yes you need to cap it but your crit needs to be about 17 to 20% BEFORE talents to keep ISB up personally i would still create FSW, there's some decent helm even from kara / ZA so SS might not be a "must" |
