Destro lock badge gear upgrade help

ok so im 0/21/40 at hit cap and about 20% crit. i have currently:
Scarlet Sin'dorei Robes (from mgt) socketed and chanted
Spellstrike Pants (crafted) socketed and chanted
Ruby Slippers (Oz event kara) chanted

my question is this. the new sunwell badge gear has 2 sets. the ones with spell hit (and spirit =\) and spell crit

should i get Spell hit and socket for hast/damage (seeing socketing for crit is pretty useless)

or should i get crit gear and socket for hit/damage (which will not equal the amount of hit from the spell hit gear)

The crit set with hit gems is generally a better setup as it is still useful in late game when you have an abundance of hit. However I would fill your other slots first gloves etc. Scarlet robes (From mgt not ZA :P) are only about 10 dps less then the badge crit robe and ss pants have a nice balance of stats to keep your hit cap. Run for the biggest upgrade first of course but in general what I said above will likely apply.
