Utility raid lock questions proc rate/efficiency

I am a fairly experienced lock been playing for several years now and know the basic do's and dont and whatnot. so here is my question...

I got 3 items that have a chance to proc upwards of like 200 spell damage and 1 item that i can "use" to proc the extra damage.

Ashtongue Talisman of Shadows - Item - World of Warcraft

Shattered Sun Pendant of Acumen - Item - World of Warcraft

Icon of the Silver Crescent - Item - World of Warcraft

Band of the Eternal Sage - Item - World of Warcraft

Do these stack? When i get the damage buff does it effect dots already up (i dont think so but i figured i would ask) and am i just a complete idiot for using the spell haste / spell damage gems (i know spell haste effect gcd which for someone who is life taping, using dark pact, and keeping up dots is helpfull... should i not even worry about gcd and just continue to stack 12 spell damage gems?)

armory link: The World of Warcraft Armory

and my second question is in raids fully buffed i get around 1510 shadow damage using " Scryer's Blade of Focus - Item - World of Warcraft " and " Timbal's Focusing Crystal - Item - World of Warcraft "

is it worth nerfing my overal spell damage to use " Ashtongue Talisman of Shadows - Item - World of Warcraft " which literally procs back to back to back quite often.

The Procs do stack.

No, they don't affect DoTs already on the target - only spells that you cast while the buff is up.

I wouldn't personally choose the Talisman of Shadows over Timbal's/Icon.

Spell haste and affliction is quite interesting - if you spreadsheet your stats you'll probably see spell haste as worth about .89:1 (haste:damage) so its not quite as good as stacking pure damage but its not far off - unless you have enough to dramatically alter the GCD/Cast times on UA/SB I wouldn't worry too much. As usual, examining your own stats is the best way to gauge for yourself:

I once had spellstrike, shattered sun neckpiece, trinket and bloodlust all at the same time on my SP. I was around 2k shadow spelldamage on my tooltip and my spells hit hard and fast. It was nice while it lasted
