Second Black Lodestone?

A warlock from my guild has generously offered to bring her Jeevee, Lodestone, and glyphs to Dire Maul for my summoning quest.

However, reading the ritual description makes me wonder if it would be useful for me to also have a Lodestone, so that I also can keep the Bell, Wheel and Candle going as well.

Is this even possible? Or is it a crazy / pointless idea?

Re: Second Black Lodestone?

You really only need one. They don't fail fast enough where one person can't recharge them. Having more than one is just about convenience i guess. Save your money.

Re: Second Black Lodestone?

Probably possible, but I doubt it will be necessary. One lock on lodestone duty will be sufficient, especially if they've done the quest before.

It is. People used to do it way back. Nowadays don't worry about it.

Re: Second Black Lodestone?

2 weeks ago when my wife was ready... we gathered myself, her and 3 other guildies... I used my imp, loadstone and everything to summon and I kept the bell and candle, etc from falling while she and the other 3 guildies fought...

saved her some time and G......

She received her dreadsteed and was happy as heck!

Re: Second Black Lodestone?

As per the quest guide, which I put a lot of work into and love having read, it states:

Quote:
Any Warlock in the party who has a Black Lodestone and a Soul Shard to spend can recharge a failing node, it doesn't have to be the one who started the ritual.
