a little question about warlock gear between 35 and 45

hello,
my warlock is level 37 at the moment and i tailored the whole shadowweave set with my mage. but i'm not really sure if i should wear it.

Yes, wear it - its certainly good enough to last a few levels.

Yes, wear it. Its really good for your level. I believe you can't equip all of it until 44, but all 6 pieces together give you 114 shadow damage, which is just silly good in your 40s.

Canadianpimp's guide (linked above) has the goal for LEVEL 50-59 at 150 shadow damage. You can get 2/3 of that by 44. Go for it.

but what is with the things that can drop in zf, maraudon, etc. (the instances between 40 and 50)? (as example the mask of bad mojo)

I have no idea what you actually mean when you say "What is with" those drops.

They're viable drops that will replace items in your current slot if you're lucky enough to be running the instance and they drop - or do you mean "are they better than the Shadoweave?" just compare the items and see for youself...the Mask of Bad Mojo is clearly better than the Shadoweave for example...

Well....you could just compare stats....?

Shadoweave Mask:

+10 Intellect
+24 damage to Shadow Spells and Effects

Mask of Bad Mojo:

+12 Intellect
Increases damage and healing done by spells and effects by 27.

yes, but i have a addon that shows me what stats are better or not better on an item that i compare with my actual item.
but i wear my shadowweave set and i will keep it for style when i found something better ;-)

You need an add-on for that?

Generally that guide will have the best items available at your level, and in most cases its fairly obvious which is the better of the two (Bad Mojo, clearly) but if you find an add-on easier then all power to you.

sometimes it is a little bit helpful,
and yes i find the guide really god (a friend from me find him god, too and he is level. 70 and he raids the t5 content (with my main char a hunter i am in this content, too))
