Malefic Raiment - Item Set - World of Warcraft
I have no idea what you mean by "how it works" but I assume you would like to know how to get it. That link shows you the whole set and individual pieces - it even lists where to get them from: Head Piece - Hyjal Summit - Archimonde Gloves Piece - Hyjal Summit - Azgalor Shoulders Piece - Black Temple - Mother Shahraz Leggings Piece - Black Temple - Illidari Council Chest Piece - Black Temple - Illidan Stormrage Bracer Piece - Sunwell Plateau - Kalecgos Belt Piece - Sunwell Plateau - Brutallus Boots Piece - Sunwell Plateau - Felmyst Tokens drop from each boss which are handed in for the actual armour at a vendor in the MH Instance. ______ of The Forgotten Conquerer - Priest - Paladin - Warlock Same for T4 (Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon) handed in on your Faction Tier: Voidheart Raiment - Item Set - World of Warcraft and T5 (SSC and TK) - also handed in on your Faction Tier: Corruptor Raiment - Item Set - World of Warcraft As to how hard? I'll let you summise that for yourself ![]() Last edited by Theleb; July 31, 2008 at 10:37 AM. |

Re: Tier 6 armor
Just taking a quick look on wowjustu for your server, zero players are in full t6 (no one has downed felmyst, so no has had a chance to get the boots yet), and of the 200 raiding guilds listed, only 19 guilds (horde and alliance combined) show progression to azgalor (the gloves) , probably the easiest t6 boss for guilds to get to.

Re: Tier 6 armor
Each "Tier" is obtained from a raid instance with a certain level of difficulty, and serves to prepare you for the next tier. Tiers 1-3 are holdovers from pre-Burning Crusade, so the starting "Tier" for a level 70 character will be Tier 4, which corresponds to gear obtained in Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, and Magtheridon. Tier-4 equivalent gear can also be obtained from crafting, heroic-difficulty instances (and in the case of Magister's Terrace, normal instances) and Zul'Aman. It's highly recommended that you start off in Karazhan and get some experience and gear before moving onto Mag and Gruul.
Once you're geared in T4, you should be at the point, stats and experience-wise, where you are ready to run the T5 raids (Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep). As you probably could have guessed, raiding in T5 is considered more difficult and demaning than it is in T4, mostly because it requires a lot more coordination within the group. Simply having the gear and stats isn't good enough, a single inattentive player can cause the entire group to wipe. Tier 6 represents the most difficult of the existing raid instances, and consists of Black Temple, Mt. Hyjal, and the Sunwell Plateau. There will be a minimum DPS requirement you must meet to ensure the success of the raid, and no raiding group would consider bringing along an undergeared DPS for a serious run. |

That site is not exactly up to date atleast on my server (Silver Hand), the guild my lock is part of Krimson Kaos (though it isnt a one guild raid group) has fully cleared BT and has downed the first two bosses of SWP however that site has them listed as still needing to down shade of akama and illidan in BT and having not touched SWP |

Get to 70, max your professions, run instances, get yourself geared out so you're mostly blued (a few crafted epics will compensate for a few greens) and then get into karazhan and heroics. Battlegrounds for the pvp "guardian's" necks are a good idea. Once you're pretty much fully epicced out (I advise checking some gearing guides as to what to get) you can try to apply to some more hardcore guilds, maybe some T5 ones, maybe some T6 ones who are desparate. HOWEVER no one will take a loot whore if they spot it. If you want T6 for T6s sake you aren't going to be popular. People who want to down new bosses, try new content and better themselves and their guild ALWAYS do better than people who just want better shinies. When people quit my server because Wrath of the Lich King meant their raid gear would be devalued, even though it was in a year's time, our progress shot forward and we went from not having downed kael thas (last T5 boss) to clearing T6 in the time that some guilds had been stuck on him. If you are seriously just after gear for gear's sake, S4 pvp gear is as high level and it's easier and fairer to get an arena team and gear up that way in pvp. If you want to raid in seriousness, you need to take an attitude that every step forward you can take is worth something, and be prepared to work for it. If you're a progress>epics person, you may find joining a less progressed guild and then quickly getting to the point you're contributing to them at, is more satisfying to you, provided they are moving forwards, because it's still progress, (if at a different point) and it's something *you are a part of*. |

Re: Tier 6 armor
btw, T5 is the best looking compared to T4 and T6
If you're on a new sever, like a year or 2 old, your chance is very slim. but if you're in the original servers you might have a chance. Last edited by eshadowone; August 01, 2008 at 10:55 AM. |

Re: Tier 6 armor
God yes there are so many silly locks in like 6 pieces of t6 and I'm just baffled. All of our locks have the pants from MH with outclass t6 pants unless you need them for 4 set. I do think so many people roll on tier items just for the getting another tier item.
