DPS spread sheet and the noob lock

I couldn't sleep tonight so I thought I would play around with the spreadsheet. If I obtain full T4 (doable in the guild Im in) and with my FSW boots and belt of blasting and a few odd Kara drops I come in at 1055 damage (raid buffed sadly) 200 hit and 24.50% crit. This also takes into the account the ring from Mags head and badge ring and season 2 spell blade.

My question is I love Afflication and dont care about the damage meters for my personal gratification, but since this guild is just starting to get T4 content on farm, would staying affliction gimp the raids?

Re: DPS spread sheet and the noob lock

No.

Plenty of guilds did T4 content with Affliction locks before the mass exodus to Destruction. Will you do more DPS as Destro?

Yep, but Raiding isn't merely about DPS so I would definatley consult with the Guild Leaders/Officers as to whether or not they want max DPS or Utility. At least with the gear you plan on getting you'll have the stats for either althogh full T4 isn't that great compared to other drops/craftables in the same slots :

BoJ gloves, BoJ Robe(s) or the MGT heroic drop, BoJ Trousers or Spellstrike Pants - the head/shoulders are the only parts I'd keep because of the metagem/2 pc Bonus and even then there are alternatives (Spellstrike Hood, Hood of Hexing).

This is a rough draft of how I'd go for affliction (Note, I haven't run it through a spreadsheet to min.max it properly, this is just an idea of what you could do):
