I don't want my Malefic Helm wings anymore

Hi guys,

This is a qq topic. If you are not in a mood to read qqs, dun carry on.

Even since T6 Malefic helm was announce and the oh so cool wings flapping every now and then, I been dreaming of getting my hand on one of these.

But having gotten one, it looks so so crap with Female Bloodelf model (haven't bump into a male bloodelf and do not have dressing room mod to see it yet). I mean I look like a dead Bugs Bunny with ears sticking out of my helm.

I mean how does that happen? Did Blizz drill two holes on my helm so that my ears can stick out and I can hear my raid leaders instructions more clearly?

It's not the helm really, it's the blood elf model. A lot of the criticism levelled at blood elves is very contraversial and a little immature. However if there's one genuine thing you can say, it's that the ears are awful. I just got my paladin his first proper helmet (TY herod) and his ears are sticking out. They look terrible, why can't he tuck them away or something? They look really silly.

Personally I think the headpiece rocks, it adds a little something that makes us warlocks stand out.

El Oh El. Ya know I never even noticed it until you pointed them out (pun intended.) Can't say I really ever cared though. Seriously, with ears like those do you really think it would feel good to wear an non-ergonomic helm that bent the ears in ways that would make a person cringe? They look silly but I say holes for the ears are awesome for comfort . What I always hated was how the shoulders embed themselves in the back of the be when mounted.

I got my tier 6 helm this week, socketed it up, tossed an enchant on it, and turned my helm graphic on. About 20 seconds later I said screw the wings and turned the graphic back off. This is on a human female. I honestly can't stand this thing. Why couldn't they have tied the wings animation to the shoulders instead of the helm?

I still think that Night Elves ears are far worse than the BE ears.
